Tara Wind Farm engages with Indigenous businesses at Connector event

On September 11, Tara Wind Farm attended the Indigenous Business Connector Series event at the Tara Hotel in Tara, hosted by Toowoomba and Surat Basin Enterprise (TSBE).
The event brought together Indigenous entrepreneurs, local businesses, and major project representatives to establish relationships that will benefit Indigenous businesses.
Tara Wind Farm shared an update on the Project and highlighted opportunities for local involvement. Landholders from around Tara expressed strong support for local sponsorships in Tara, which we confirmed is already underway with several community organisations.
The Indigenous Business Connector Program aims to support First Nations businesses by connecting them with supply chains, funding pathways, and growth opportunities. It plays a vital role in breaking down barriers and building sustainable partnerships.
Tara Wind Farm is committed to local procurement and inclusive engagement, ensuring that the benefits of renewable energy projects are shared across the community.
