Our community

Working with the community

As Australia transitions its energy generation to renewable sources, Vestas is committed to working respectfully alongside the communities in which it operates.

Vestas believes effective engagement provides a unique opportunity for projects to benefit from local insights, work together with the community to address any concerns and build lasting and productive relationships that are key to a project’s long-term success.

Tara Wind Farm has hosted two community information sessions in Tara. These drop-in events allow us to share the latest Project information, engage with locals to gain a better understanding of what is important to them, and obtain feedback to help us shape the Project.

We value community and stakeholder input. Please continue to share your feedback with us by completing our Community Feedback Survey below.
