Tara Wind Farm supports Tara Show Society

June 2026

Tara Wind Farm has proudly supported the Tara P A & H Show Society for the second year running, providing sponsorship for sideshow alley entertainment at the region’s 90th agricultural show. The annual event celebrates the best of the district, attracting strong community support and representing the region’s character and spirit.

Tara P A & H Show Society President, Lou Thornbury, applied for funding through the Tara Wind Farm Community Grants and Sponsorship Program.

“The funding allowed children to ride all day for as long as they wanted to,” Ms Thornbury said.

“We even had families travel from other towns so their children could enjoy the rides.

“The event brought the community together to celebrate our 90-year milestone. We were very grateful to receive support from Tara Wind Farm.”

The Tara Show is an annual event that showcases local produce, talent and innovation from the region. With exhibits, entertainment, markets and food, it offers a fun and engaging event for all attendees.

Tara Wind Farm also hosted a stall at the Tara Show this year.

“It was clear the show is a valued local event, bringing families and the broader community together,” Tara Wind Farm’s Project Manager, Alexander Normoyle, said.

“We’re proud to support an event that reflects strong community values and look forward to continuing to work closely with the Tara Show Society as our Project progresses.”
