Tara Wind Farm supports the Tara Community Christmas Carnival
January 2026
To wrap up our 2025 year, Tara Wind Farm provided $8,000 in sponsorship to the Tara Community Christmas Carnival. The funds covered the cost of rides and amusements at the annual event.
Tara Futures Group Secretary, Beryl Bennett, applied for the funding on behalf of the community-based organisation.
“The Tara Community Christmas Carnival was a huge success and without this kind of support, our events would not happen,” Ms Bennett said.
“The event brings our residents together and the free entertainment and activities provide a sense of community. The carnival has become a cherished annual event that reinforces and enhances community solidarity.”
Tara Wind Farm is committed to supporting the Tara region and our funding program provides grants and sponsorship for community-based organisations, initiatives, and events such as this, in the Tara region.
“We are proud to sponsor the Tara Community Christmas Carnival, enabling the rides and amusements to be kept free for the local community,” Tara Wind Farm’s Project Manager, Alexander Normoyle, said.
Tara Wind Farm will reopen the Community Grants and Sponsorship Program early this year and is looking forward to continuing to support the local community as our Project progresses.
