Tara Wind Farm sponsors St Joseph’s School, Tara
September 2026
The St Joseph's School’s Tara Parent Engagement Network (PEN) recently welcomed parents, families and community members to its Through the Ages Music Trivia Night. Proudly sponsored by Tara Wind Farm, the event created an evening of entertainment, fundraising and community connection.
PEN is a volunteer-led group that supports St Joseph's School through fundraising, events and community-building initiatives that create additional opportunities for students. With around 70 students enrolled, the network plays an important role in strengthening connections between families, the school and the wider Tara community.
"We hosted a music trivia night to bring some fun and community engagement to our small school," a PEN representative said.
The event featured music trivia, food, refreshments, raffles and fundraising activities, providing an opportunity for community members to come together while supporting local students. Funding provided through the Tara Wind Farm Community Grants and Sponsorship Program helped cover food costs for the evening.
"It is always rewarding to support initiatives that benefit local students and are made possible by the dedication of community volunteers,” Andrew Wilson, Tara Wind Farm's Project Manager, said.
"Schools are at the heart of local communities, and we are proud to support events like the St Joseph's School trivia night that bring people together."
While the Community Grants and Sponsorships Program has closed for 2026, the Tara Wind Farm team looks forward to continuing its partnership with the community and supporting local initiatives into the future.
