Vestas’ Tara Wind Farm is proud to support the St Joseph’s School, Tara, for its Year 4 to Year 6 school camp. The $5,000 sponsorship will be distributed evenly among the students to reduce the total cost of their attendance.

School Principal Kylie Williams applied for the funding through the Tara Wind Farm Community Grants and Sponsorship Program.

“School camps provide students with the opportunity to enhance their learning and build relationships with each other and the attending staff,” Principal, Kylie Williams, said.

“Having the financial support for each family will ensure that all students have the opportunity to attend camp.”

The school camp is planned to take place in July this year.

“Sponsoring local schools aligns closely with our Vestas values and we are pleased to be supporting numerous students and their attendance at St Joseph’s Year 4 to Year 6 annual school camp,” Tara Wind Farm’s Project Manager, Alexander Normoyle, said.
